Creating Sustainable Livelihoods for Families

At Touch One Life, we know that healing and empowerment must extend to the home. Our livelihood programs support the families of children with disabilities by equipping them with the skills, tools, and land to build sustainable futures.

The Problem

Parents of differently abled children often struggle with financial hardship, social stigma, and lack of access to resources. Without support, these families are pushed further into poverty and the children remain excluded from education and care.

Programme one

Home Visit Programme

Children with disabilities, whether physical or psychosocial, often face exclusion and neglect. Our Home Visit Programme provides necessary medical support and helps raise community awareness about the needs of these children.

We focus on reintegrating these children back into school and family life, helping them access the education and resources they deserve. This program also supports parents by offering guidance and emotional support as they work to care for their children.

Programme two

Agricultural Program for Parents of Differently Abled Children

In many communities, families of differently abled children face financial hardships due to the extra care and attention their children require. Our Agricultural Programme strives to secure land for families, where they can plant cassava, as a source of income.

By helping parents develop agricultural skills, we enable healing and allow them to support their children’s needs and improve their overall quality of life.
